Mornin'.
Dunno if anyone is a metal guitar geek up on this thread but I have a bit of history for sale here. It's a handbuilt guitar by Doug of Black Machine, the guitars played by Meshuggah and SikTh and all kinds of other good stuff. Doug's an old mate of mine and this is the guitar that he always referred to as Black Machine #1. Though I bet he said that to all the boys.
Anyway, it could very well be worth many times as much as I'm selling it for here, due to its history, but personally I think there's nothing sadder than an unplayed instrument, and I can't stand people who see guitars as nothing but investments, so this one is for sale.
It's got EMG active pickups, gold hardware, only ever been toured once and flightcased the whole time. It's got a few scratches on the back - which you'd expect with a 10 year old unvarnished guitar - but it still looks fantastic and plays beautifully.

Price is £1500 or would consider swapping for a Gretsch hollowbody plus cash. Kickass.

Some young "braaap braaap braaap" style rapper. He's been in the underground for quite a while, I saw him supporting The Streets around 2006, but he seems to be going mainstream. You will very shortly hear his song "Just be good to green" everywhere.
He'll probably want to remove that battle off YouTube with Jin where he literally could think of nothing to say. Ouch.

My homegirl was asked to pitch for one of the pope gigs. She's usually to be found making large scale rock gigs happen. I said if she got the gig she'd have to make satin jackets with POPEFEST 2010 on the front and a picture of the pope on the back giving the thumbs up,wearing a leather jacket and rocking the Wayfarers.
I'm still waiting for my jacket. She's doing Birmingham.

Oh god I just remembered. On Thursday I saw this girl in a purple catsuit clambering onto a beige fixed with brown bartape on Dalston Kingsland Road. I doubt you're on here but if you are, apologies for the girls I was with - they wanted us to be wed.
FanTAStic look though. I'm off to rock the same thing this weekend. Amazing.

Lichen is amazing. What I thought was really beautiful about Lichen is that it's totally related to Wyndham's life - he fell in love with a schoolteacher quite late in life and she had chosen career over having a family. That whole book is a wish on his part to have youth over again for his wife. It's yearningly beautiful.

if you need one - it means your bike doesn't fit you properly

Certainly agree with the sentements about capoeira
YouTube- Capoeira Fail
That's from a film. I know a few dudes who do capoeria as a hobby and I'd put 'em against 99% of people who'd start a ruck in the streets, mostly because they're so fit as a result of it.
Personally I've done a few martial arts and the only one which really had a decent application on the streets was that Israeli thing, Krav Maga. It's totally brutal and thuggish but it's simple to learn and sticks with you. You don't need to be hyperfit to use it either.

Y'know what, I'm not actually sure. I have a vague memory of an 81 and an 89 but I'd have to check. Can you tell by looking at the front?
