Nah, we ended up having a long and pointless conversation where I said they should be setting a good example by doing mirror, signal, manoeuvre etc. and they said I was slipstreaming them too close. There were no winners but I think I enjoyed it more.

It's not the saddle that tilts, it's the seatpost and they nearly all do tilt. Just loosen the allen bolt underneath and lean on it. All the weight's gonna be on your scrot though if it's tilted too far back
