Hello all, finally bowing to the inevitable and selling my Bareknuckle frame with a view to replacing with something that has a slightly smaller top tube.
I have included pictures showing my current set-up and also some information on the geometry. As you can see the clearances are tight on the rear, I'm running a 25 tyre in the attached pic.
Ride is as you would expect for such a track bike. I had a Brick Lane Bikes frame before this and it was a totally different experience, this is very stiff and if you put your foot down it goes. Last time I spoke to Will from Hubjub (where I sourced mine), there were no black 52s left. Don't sleep!

Perfect, thanks for that. Time to source some!
Although it isn't clear from the picture, I don't think they actually have a short reach, they are V-shaped across the width, so the handles are actually well forward of the quill. But to answer your question, the Syntace Stratos sweeps back slightly from the centre, so it probably has the shortest reach of any bullhorn. Cables go through the bar up to the corner, not all the way to the centre bulge.

^^ Sums up what a lot of new members probably feel I would say.
Hi Monthen, really depends on what you're after and the budget you have. If you're looking for an off-the-peg bike (complete from Evans etc) you can't go wrong with a Fuji Classic track. Another frame which is very popular round these parts is the Surly Steamroller. Search for both bikes and you'll surely get some hints on what you might want from your ride.
