I know i need direct drive, and 1200s are out of my price range, unless they go on ebay for cheap?

Basically I want to buy some decks mainly for scratching and beatjuggling etc.
Dont want to spend a huge amount on them, maybe about 130 max per deck.
Does anyone have any knowledge on this? bear in mind im a total beginner.
I also need an amp, mixer and speakers so could anyone point me in the right direction with these?

been well cared for, the previous owner and me both work in a bike shop so its been well maintained etc.

old federal frame with a not so good quality white respray (plenty of scratches)
hazard lite rear rim laced onto a hoffman cassette hub
shadow conspiracy 28t sprocket on primo powerbites (anodize has rubbed off, down to the metal)
28-10 gearing
odyssey fork
fly bike malaga stem
inertia badger bars
fron proper wheel (green proper hub, green proper rim, white spokes)
shitty seatpost
shadow conspiracy saddle
oddyses evolver brake
pink headset (yay)

Im guessing this wont go for much more than 300 or even a bit lower.
any offers considored (within reason!)

Spotted a fixed rider in 5050, exchanged nods.
Nice looking black lugged track frame with cream lug lining (possibly bob jackson) chrome nitto drops with white tape on the top, white padded leather top tube protector, front brake.

Blowtorch to dent, length of tubing correct seatpost diameter, hammer if the fuck down and dent might straighten out, then pull tube back out of seattube. good as new*

Few charge plugs spotted outside cabot circus this morning. one fixed one had a front brake and no toe straps..

Just practise - I found it IMPOSSIBLE to begin with, as alot of you might have too.
but once I got past the initial hip join pains and quad burn I was on my way =]

Mine lasted for 20 seconds before the bearings gave up.

Fair enough but if he likes the "stripped down nature" why doesnt he just get a fixed wheel and just the front brake, this would be ALOT safer.

phew.. spotted alot today.
spotted a black fixed wheel being wheeled along outside the odeon in the afternoon at some point, not sure when. I have a suspicion it was Ned's off the forum, I recognized ya face from your avatar, was in a bit of a hurry though!

spotted outside a pub on the gloucester road, fixed wheel white/flouro yellow/purple (possibly)

and then further down the gloucesrer road spotted two guys standing on the corner with fixed wheels, one of them silver/chrome. they had a good like at mine as I rode past.

continously seeing this dude with a singlespeed and one front brake riding up the gloucester road too - WTF.

I ALWAYS jump the red outside maplins, gloucester road down to town through stokes is too much of an awesome stretch to be interupted by shitty traffic lights.

Better watch out next time.

did you by any chance position that with the intent of inserting it into your nostrol for control? perhaps if you attatch two levers to the stem, one for the front and one for the back brake you could insert one lever into each nostril and have full braking control.

Im not really into the idea of selling in a few months.. I wouldn't mind shifting it soonish.
