What is the maximum tyre width I can get away with on my '08 Fuji Track? The chainstay looks like it has been manipulated to take fairly wide rubber, but it would be good to know what works before I order anything.

They are overpriced compared to others but the mount is great. I use a bullfrog front and it is comparable to cheaper cateye front lights, and easier to carry and swap between bikes.

I've been running my Fuji fixed for the past year or so, and needed an 18t cog, so after checking a certain auction site, I picked up a ACS claws freewheel to try out the ratio (it cost a fiver and was 'new').

My god - it is terrible. I know you guys always say stick to fixed, but that is a massive understatement. The bike feels TERRIBLE. And it sounds like a tractor.

I got an email from Slane, and the groupset is no longer stocked, apparently. No word as to whether it was actually a full groupset.

Both are Med frames which would be good for at 5'9"

You'll probably find the Plug is too big. I'm around your height and the medium frame comes up on the large side.

You're not helping yourself here. You specified 16-45 year old people, so people over 30 are right in the middle of your target demographic ;)

I used to ride a route out of London past Chelmsford on my scooter - got there in no time.

Just eBay it. I got the same rebate 8gb Touch last week and got £145 + postage for it.

Also, to give a different perspective on the 'twitchy' fuji, I'm not particularly super fit or flexible, or even that good a rider. But after a short time on the fuji (and a switch to straight bars, front brake, and a charge seat) I haven't had any problems at all. After a year I still love it.

The 'twitchy' aspect seemed to vanish after adding the straight bar, but it still felt so much more direct and fun than the plug which I also tried (albeit in stock form).

This is not to take away from the plug which looks great and felt very safe and solid - a great all weather bike. But the fuji has a sort of explosiveness that is hugely addictive. It looks fast just sitting there leaning up against the wall - as if it is urging you to take it out and thrash it - even if all you needed to do was go out and buy a pint of milk.

if anyone reading this happens to be around 5'7" AND own a fuji track I'd appreciate your comments regarding what size frame might be most suitable - and yes, I appreciate that bike sizing is a personal thing so no guarantee that what suits someone else of the same height would also suit me, but any feedback would be very helpful nonetheless!

I am 5'9" and I still have the seat post up about 4 inches on a 56 frame. I'm sure you could safely fit on a 54.

I'd be happy to pay £10 for the Easton bars and £20 for the 105 callipers.
