Anyone know what the go is with PC games being returned, as I bought Dead Space yesterday, and despite my system being able to run it (by the minimum specs) it won't run properly - I messed about for hours - downloaded riva tuner to try and tune the graphics card - no joy....tried everything I could think of - system processes, running it at lowest FPS, you name it.....
Their are countless complaints about the same issues that I am having all over various forums etc.
When I bought it from Game Station the assistant asked me if my PC could run it and that I would not be able to return it? That can't be right though? Surely if my PC meets minium spec and it still can't run it, and many people are saying the same, they have to refund don't they?

it was my first fixed build - I just bought an old Raleigh frame and forks off fleapay, then slowly built it up - it's nothing special, but it is mine and I'm well chuffed how it's turned out - not a lot to look at, but it has a charm! Will post pics when I get some batteries for my camera!
Trouble is, now I kinda know what I'm doing and pitfalls to avoid, I wanna repeat the excercise and build something *nice.....*and so, it starts! :P

The simplest way of resolving this is a pair of mole grips. align the pin and the link in the jaws of the grips, give it a gentle squeeze and it should slight straight back in. Will need tweaking with the chain tool, but it's a 2 second job. Little tip I picked up working in a bike shop.
Cock the hammer - cock the hammer, it's time for action!!
yay, mole grips and a little bit of luck, my man!!
Cheers!

'better not let this chain pin come all the way out..easy now..shit'
were my last words last night, before spending 2 hours trying various methods of getting a chain pin back in a KMX BMX chain....
anyone got an unusual bodge that works? tried pliars, hammer, chain tool and various combos of all three
or am I resigned to buying new chain?

Seen a few knocking about - a Pearson Touche for sure a few times, riding fixed - couple of Langsters riding SS - stopped to speak to one guy recently who had a lovely bike, Italian frame...can't remember the name but managed to sneak some photos - I'll dig them out at some stage.
I've been here 2 years, originally from South East UK...aye theres a few bastard hills like that up here! :)
