Won't work I think ... you either need to destroy it .. caustic soda will destory aluminum (there are horror stories of people losing whole motorbikes because they tried cleaning it to make it shiny with it and not having a motorbike when they have returned) ... it won't touch steel .. so it should just burn it out.

.. or get some proper torque on it .. i.e. basically saw into those cups and them get something in there and turn with sheer brute force... and use a king dick spanner.

No Forks ... No thanks... I used to ride a Aprillia R250 and that was vicious enough ... and it had nice decent shocks etc ... I defo ain't riding anything motorised without it being normally layed out. I once rode a Yamaha R1 which I consider the death bike IMO, It was too fast ... and then I got pulled over by the cops but that is another story entirely.

Because it can be fun and it is a good way of learning how to work out odds. It really good knowing when your mates are going to try something ... lets you learn body language quite well if you are perceptive enough ..

This is called Hub Centre Steering. Been tried on motorcycles with limited success. Yamaha had a go in the 90's. One of Bimota's current range of exotica has this also.

I went through a poker phase and a pool playing phase (I used to be a decent snooker player) ... I like to get damn good at any activity I do so I ended up getting fairly decent at both ... the problem was getting any better required soo much effort it was prohibitive.
