My new hubs finally arrived today from BETD. A pair of Goldtec hubs in Orange (PMS 7536). Will post a picture of them when get back home. Done a really nice job on them. Now which rims to match them with... Exploding H+Sons ?

My brooks B17 is well comfy now it's broken in. Took a little while though and a few goes with the proofing stuff.

True, the faster non L primes are ok. It's the zooms that you get a huge difference. Recent non L lens' are not really designed for full frame sensors...so their lack of optical quality does show.

No point putting low quality glass on a decent body like the 5D. Should be L's all the way.

Looking for a small light track frame to build up a ride for my girlfriend. She's only little - about 5ft 4 so something that would suit. Idealy woudl have drilling for a rear brake until she's confident enough to ditch it. Nothing to pricey !

He says the lock was a 'magnum' - now cut through he says it has coiled wire inside a metal tube inside plastic coating. Sounds like the lock was the problem ? Certainly not a big Abus. Problem is though it was cut through with something powerful so sounds like it wouldn't have made a difference what it was.

Friends Specialized Globe 2008 58cm frame. Not a fixed but absolutly brand spanking new. Less than 24 hours old !! First time he'd locked it up outside the Dove, Broadway Market in Hackney got nicked. Went in for a pint and bike gone when he came out. The U Lock had been cut clean through. I know it's a long shot but if anyone sees any dodgy bastard on a brand new globe in that area then let me know. He's going down Brick Lane early on Sunday. I'm sure he might see it again there.
