I've an old pair of Ironheart 21oz 634s in 34 x 36 if anyone wants them for say £40. Washed and worn witha tonne of life left but sadly too small for me, V comfy but not a summer jean at 21oz more your would-be logger/motorcyclist affair. I've got two other pairs so its not like I don't like them or know the quality. Couple of bits are worn as illustrated and I can't even remember why beyond I'm that kind of person, but I removed the patch on the back.

As per the title, £70 + £5 postage as I'm based in Hastings. V good condition with a bit of scuffing at crank ends which will largely be hidden by pedals. Bought from the forums own @Dick but proved surplus to my needs as I ended up using a TA chainset. Skip.

Single glazed sashes might not be that bad in winter. No way a deal breaker imho and I think double-glazing is rather oversold. Some of ours appear to be original 1860's glass and we face the sea. Had them re-furbished such that any rotten wood replaced and the odd pane replaced and puttied, draft excluders fitted, new ropes/weights. that kind of thing and they're just fine in winter. Much cheaper than replacing them. Busy roads are going to be a lot quieter in 15 years.

England are an average team that really don't look like they have a goal in them, I felt like this during the last world cup as well, three quarters of our goals came from set pieces.. clearly not sustainable as we havn't matched it this time round.
I've felt like this since the early 80s and nothing has persuaded me different.

I hear you. It's the communication and I have to say construction/trades seem to operate on parameters that would be totally unacceptable in any other line of work. I get that it involves unforeseen hurdles due to weather say or availability of materials or overrun but why almost everyone experiences the not reply/ignore promises/ignore the phone/schoolboy level excuse as to unavailability, is beyond me. Wheat from chaff and all that and I now have after 6 years a small list of regular and excellent skilled folk but man, some of it is just entry level civility and sense. I guess its a sellers market at the moment but the sun won't always shine

The Early Rider Belter also has the distinct advantage, hinted at in the name, of being belt-drive which is both marginally lighter and a lot less messy when you've to carry it, sling it in the car etc. And as stated, all these hold their value
