This is the 5th year of the event. Like most famous people, I know they don't like to talk about their work for charidee..... However we must big up the lovely organisers of this event for the great work that they do....
In the run up to Christmas my neighbour fell ill, so most nights I went to hospital to visit her.
A few things I learnt from this experience.....' Your health is your wealth'....

Well we've got 60 plus members of TEAM LFGSS signed up which is magic. We've had the quiz, hip- flask talk and general banter about memories of the ride. So what to think of now with 6 weeks to go?
Yes what to wear of course...... The ride goes through East London after all and the fashion police will I'm sure be out in force. Currently un-decided about what to go for.

Well not really feeling, monochrome and roadie enough for that....Been having a bit of a 90', fluoro moment of late. Well it's the 10th anniversary of Pantani's death. This sort of look is great Health and Safety, so wondering about something along these lines

Mmmnnn certainly a good idea to show support to the BC massive. Certainly a good look for this ride.Now we must not forget that there is a massive LFGSS presence here. Probably 1 in 6 of those doing the pave and alps will be signed up on here, so there is always a good excuse do dust off this number.

Don't worry about the training for this ride. It starts and ends in a pub, so it's none of that sportive bo££ock$ you can come across, and it's all for charidee mate.

To deter thieves why didn't TRI UK put helpful signs on the back of their vans saying
'No tools but £125,000 worth of cycling gear, left in van overnight'.

I had no insulation in my flat until this year, so when I leave for work each day I always start off nice and warm, so once I am getting going it's arms out etc.
