Greetings and Love to each and every one.....,
Now then....................As a special treat for you all.....On a musical tip......
Much of the ride is out and about in south Babylon-don. The top roots, rock reggae sound system is without question JAH Shaka sound.

He hails from South / South East, not far from the route of this ride...
For those of a certain age , there was once a radio station called Kiss FM. Back in the day it was a pirate station and played a lot of different types of music. In the mid 1990's JAH Shaka made a series of radio broadcasts on that station. So if you have some time to spare, then check out some roots rock reggae. 4 clips about 45 mins each.

He has been playing his own sound since the 1970's and still comes out 5 or 6 times a year.
Musical education for you.
Let JAH music play for each and every one...

JAH Love is a message from above...
Give thanks,

Let us hope we are blessed with similar weather for the 6th of April.
Peace and Love to one and all,

Greetings folks,
almac68 and cake - give thanks for the explanation..... I guess they can be spotted regularly in their natural habitats of Richmond and Regents Parks showing off their striped plumage.
Jonny - I'll see if I can find my passport and then we'll see about heading north of the river...
Skully - I am completely with you on this.......I have my handlebars double wrapped with brooks tape. I have found this to be very comfortable and as a result only wear gloves when it is very cold - it's only been five times this 'winter'.
Give thanks,

Anyone looking for a spot?
I think I need to drop out because I'll be sliding down big Canadian hills on a piece of fibreglass.
I'm sad that I'll have to miss it but happy that I'll be in Canada.
Greetings Indra,
Why would you want to slide down hills in Canada on fibreglass when you can skid down Babylon-don's hills on carbon / steel?
You will be missed...
Give thanks and 4 weeks to go peeps,

Greetings and love,
Well let's park Jimmy Pursey in the bin after that one..... I hope your friend came back with a suitable reply...
In another life I did attend the Reading Festival 3 times in the mid to late 1980's. One of my favourite moments was seeing Bonnie Tyler. I cannot condone this behaviour, but at the time it seemed customary to show your 'appreciation' of the acts on stage by urinating in a plastic bottle and then hurling it stage-wards.

This behaviour reached it's peak when the lovely Bonnie took to the stage. She took it all in her stride and was baiting the crowd bless her.
So back on topic. This Sunday will be 4 weeks to go...
I hope the training is going well.
Give thanks,

Greetings and love folks,
When first reading Dave's post about the found the Brompton, I thought if it had taken me from April to October to get from Gipsy Hill to Islington then I would have given up also. Now I realise the bike was lost and is now found that is such a great news story...
Canonbie Road is pretty epic. This chap has just spent 6 weeks climbing to the top

What an achievement!!!
Give thanks,

Greetings and love to each and every one,
Wow up to 69 in the LFGSS peleton...... Well Rod, ahem indeed re 69 related anecdote. I like a challenge. There is obviously a massive oohh err missus quality to that number, oh I'm blushing as I type as '69 in the LFGSS peleton' is certainly an image to conjure with...., but thankfully I am above 'rising' to that...
Well my old mate Bryan Adams had a good summer that year

Ooh no enough of that, it's even worse than The Alarm.
69, is of course one number above the year I was born.
The other number we need to think about is 5 - yes people it's 5 weeks to go!!!
Peace and Love,

Give thanks dooks,
Wow that is some list. Er being of a certain age, ever time I hear '68'. It reminds me of 1983 when the following was a pretty big hit.
