That was a "ideal scenario" if i'm honest mate. it would be good to make the most of what we can really, especially as the City Council want to get the most out of this 2 week launch event (and by this, there's money available/resources available)
I'll ask around a few of the locals, and see what feedback i can get.
We have two community cycle hubs that are based at leisure centres, which could give us a good court, but i want to find something that is close to high footfall (thats the difficult part) so that we can attract passers-by.
I'll keep y'all posted..... -
Guys - some of you may know that i am involved with the whole Bike North Birmingham project, and we have a launch event planned for the 11th - 25th April.
If i could secure a decent "court" or playspace, would any of you be up for having a few games amongst yourselves, as a demo thing, but also "coach" a few people who may be up for having a go? It would be for a few hours, maybe on a Sunday to suit all.
The only thing is that it would be Erdington/Sutton Coldfield area...... Just a thought. It would be great to offer a different cycling event, rather than a bloody bike smoothie maker.... whoop-de-do -

I was going to offer £50 incl postage to Birmingham, as a mate bought those for £40, and they are a tidy purchase.
The offer's there.....
