Did i ask a stupid question or are you all beavering away looking for suitable forks?

OK I have an issue. In my infinite wisdom I decided against IHS (for reasons of cost more than anything, and i wanted sparkles, which I didn't get!)
Anyway, I'm having huge problems finding a reasonable non IHS Carbon fork.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I have a POC you can have. Steel road frame, likely peugeot but couldn't confirm. Dodgy red pain but covered in stickers. Made for 27's, proper old. Have a fork as well. Stupidly large clearances but if you want it, you can have it as its for Charity and all that.
