Thanks both. I'm currently working with them on another shorter project which is what surprises me. And it's the same person who booked me about a week ago. Maybe she's just got lots of projects on and isn't thinking. Prior to that I haven't done any work for them since March and before that, November. Only a week tops, each time. No great shakes if they prefer someone IR35. I've got too much on to do a proper job but they're a giant company and sometimes filthy lucre is hard to turn down.

I'm a sole trader and being asked if I can do inside IR35 for a project.
My understanding was that IR35 was relevant to freelancers working through their own ltd company. They know I'm a sole trader, not working through ltd. Why are they asking this? Is it something I've missed or something they've forgotten?
I work for lots of different clients. Usually a few days at a time. This would be 12 days for one client.

TOTK.
Completed the battery so thought I'd try something out other than two fans and a steering stick. Went and spend 50 large zonaite charges in dispensers and just messed around with the random drops.
Put a homing cart on the ground. Put a stabiliser on either side so it can't be flipped easily. Put a frost emitter on top of the cart. Put a beam emitter in front of the cart. On top of the frost emitter put a big wheel on its side. On the big wheel, put 8 beam emitters, evenly spaced. Save it as a favourite. Carry it to anything taller than a bokoblin. Hit it. Run.
Hinox, frox, moblin, molduga, boss bokoblins, even lynels. The only thing it struggled with is a gleeok because it kept flying off. But im going to experiment with construct heads between the wheel and each beam emitter... Costs 42 zonaite, so if you've got a surplus....

I'd love to get him watching Encanto etc - but he's seen clips and just doesn't respond well yet. A year or two.
I've thankfully managed to maintain a paw patrol free house, to date.
Films he's happy with: pooh related things / peanuts related things / and he's quite into disney's robin hood. But that's about 10 films on a loop. We managed Ponyo after a LOT of coaxing.
So I'm thinking Jaws next.

Ooh, I think The Little Mermaid with my grannie in Southampton might have been my first. I must have been young though as she died before I started school.
Jurassic Park I don't remember where - must have been a more appropriate age.
I remember seeing Babe at a friends birthday. He was called Bahram, so when the fucking sheep started blurting out 'bah ram ewe' his mum lost it.
Godzilla with a couple of older cousins from another country I barely knew. Got very into Jamiroquai for at least 3 days after that.
A little later on I remember my dad taking me to see Gladiator and, on another day, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon - both mid-week, so was feeling billy big bollocks at school the next day.
In Brighton we used to go to various cinemas and screenings multiple times a week. In Devon and as a parent I've been to the cinema once in the past 5 years (Dune when a friend visited and even then I felt guilty despite literally being forced out of the door by mrs cyoa). Can't wait til age appropriateness of films starts to align with kiddos age/ability to cope. Modern releases aimed at very young kids seem so much more chaotic and stressful than ones I remember growing up with.

I have memories of watching RHPOT in the cinema twice while on holiday. It came out in 1991 which would make me 5. That can't be right. Which means it must have been a repeat screening a year or two later for some reason? Or my parents were more carefree than I realised.
To this day I greet all my cousins with a Rickman-esque, "Couu-sin!"

Have you FULLY populated them? I.e. not just the first 8, but the second 8 (so they're blue rather than green)?
And a way to get the fan off the ground - lift it into the air with ultrahand (those zonai engineering stashes are usually on raised platforms which helps). Then lower it towards you. Recall. Hop on as it carries you up and you float on your merry way. You can also stock up on wings from dispensers and when your wing runs out mid flight (they have a limited lifespan based on distance travelled it seems), you can just pop another one and paraglide onto it and continue flying.
I've discovered construct heads recently which, with a beam emitter on top of them and the pairing used in place of a headlight on my hoverbike, make for a fun way to kite big bosses in the depths.

Not to shit on the value of legal professionals ("some of my best friends etc") but are there any AI contract generators worth looking into for service agreements (video production)? I have a vague boilerplate one I had someone write years ago and it's fine but a little dated and it's a faff to adjust each time I need to dust it off and use it. Nothing too complex but want something a little more than just a clunky email - particularly on scope of work / revisions etc for monthly retainers.

Production (corporate and commercial) preferred, esp if we can supply kit. Am a producer/director and sometime DOP/Gaffer with an awful lot of clobber. But I edit to a not terrible standard and have done a lot more editing-only jobs this past 18 months which I'm not hating.
Just heard back from one of the late invoices who has said it'll be sorted today so that takes some of the sting out of this month (assuming not full of shit).
Chasing the September job to see if they can sort an early deposit.

Thanks - tried it this morning. Connected it to a closed network. Wiped it. Flashed new firmware. Probably not perfect but equally probably overkill given the library regulars. He's currently programming it to play the Zelda main theme. Might get a couple of the newer ones with speakers rather than playing audio through the computer. Quite fun little things.

It's a single hit so not massive damage to weapons. Also weapons are all so crap and so common it doesn't really matter. But if I have one in my bag I usually use a wooden stick without any fused attachments.
You can also trigger devices by throwing things at them - I usually throw a giant brightbloom seed at the front of my flying bike to act as a headlight in the depths, but need to whack it quickly with a stick so it doesn't take off without me.

Proper beach picnic blankets? Waterproof one side. Easily cleanable. Long life. Wraps up into self contained bag/case/etc.
I remember seeing one I liked the look of a year or three ago (millican?) But open to others. Ideally one that can arrived before the weekend.
Edit: millican appear to have gone out of business but in hindsight i seem to remember the picnic blanket was from another brand and it was some cross promotion. Hunt continues.

Avoiding spoilers as much poss but:
The questline that involves going to multiple digging places underground with mini repeat boss battles at each one (the first one giving you a skill beginning with A). Completing that line and in the final mini boss battle thinking 'why don't I have one of those?'. Then later, flying randomly around in a storm cloud with zero visibility, landing on a sky island in the south, unlocking a door (using hearts...) following THAT questline. Thinking 'well waddya know...!'
In other totk news, the best vehicle I've come up with so far requires two fans and one control pedestal. A fan on either side, both angled at 45 degrees down, blowing backwards. Control stick in the middle. Depending on orientation of controller, it works either one fan behind the other (think motorbike and my default build) or side by side (think segway). Have basically discovered two thirds of the depths on it.
And with a big battery (currently at 5 full blocks of 3 but it looks like you can get up to 8 if you look at the device up close) you can fly for miles. Fans and sticks are all usually found at zonai engineer stashes or dispensers so it's a cheap, easy way to scoot around and feels like I'm playing a star wars game.
Esp with the addition of a certain round friend..
They responded saying they'd up my dayrate if I worked inside IR35 ('Due to the nature of this particular project it has to be inside'). Have emailed accountant but would just as soon turn it down than incorporate for this project alone (unless it's 3 grand a day or something).
