but those little DG cans... they're too sweet and it's only the initial cold fizzyness that does the trick which you can surely get with any can? even a can of ribena probably works.

Any specifics? I can only ever see those naff Old Jamaica cans or disgracefully overpriced "traditional ginger beer" in supermarkets which is just weak ginger-soaked water with a Finest* or Taste The Difference Label.

my trouble with the concentrated ribena is that i'm never sure on measurements - it's always too weak or too strong, either way it's foul. But in the little 300ml bottles - it's perfect.

I saw that in the newsagents the other day... Couldn't face it... Sounds dire.

I find a carton when I'm out and about does the job but I also feel like I'm eight years old. As a thirst quencher give me the middle sized bottles any day, especially if they've been in a cold cold fridge. Amazing.
