I used to enjoy Mint Sauce, for me Jo Burt's cartoons really summed up what mountain biking was to me, I was gutted when MBUK started aiming themselves towards teenagers that rode trials bikes and people who wanted to drool over expensive downhill bikes. As one of the Mint Sauce pages once said, "it's more about the mountain than the bike" but MBUK didn't really reflect this after a while. Unfortunately the magazines always seem to be wrapped in plastic so just reading Mint Sauce in WH Smith wasn't an option.

I'm in so much pain at the moment. My wisdom teeth that have sat under my gums giving me occasionl trouble over the years are now giving me pain up the right side of my face. I'm not a big fan of the dentist (I know, I know, I should HTFU) but I'm now thinking it might be time to have them taken out.

Having ridden mountain bikes in the past I was always under the impression that riser bars were made wide on the assumption that the purchaser would cut them to their preferred width anyway, that's why some of them have measurements printed on the ends.
Obviously a person with wider shoulders will want a wider bar, people with narrower shoulders just cut more off.
I cut about 3" off the ends of my risers but they are still wider than the tops of the drops I used to use.

The runway!
Wisley aerodrome, abandoned since WWII, runway is still there and is crossed by public footpaths, not the smoothest surface as it's concrete but far enough away from anywhere to have a BBQ, speakers etc.
Parking for a few cars nearby and easily rideable from Woking or West Byfleet stations, 30/40 mins from Waterloo.

I think the caps would be a good idea too, for those who might not want a whole jersey but want to wear a bit of LFGSS gear when out riding or whatever.
I'd say do a My Little Pony jersey and a cap with just a LFGSS logo for those who wish to avoid the pony-ness.
