So! Some of you may already know, but me and @hilbilly are leaving London's famous London and heading to Vancouver BC! I wasn't sure of the best way to organise this, but we wanted a bit of notice to make sure we had a chance to see as many people as possible before we leave, gonna miss you bastards. We're around until the end of May/beginning of June (depending if the airline ever stop changing our flights....) but we're planning to organise something on this weekend, outside in a park most likely.

Please tag/share with folks, especially peeps who aren't on the forum much any more!

I only really make american style usually. Might sound stupid but could you just add more liquid so the batter is thinner? Add less baking powder so it doesn't puff up as much? I don't think I've made really thin pancakes since I've been vegan.

500ml is one cup, if you're doing it right 😎

The Hoffmann method for French press is pretty good for a cleaner cup, but does take a long time (a lot of that time is just letting it sit, but still)

We have a clever dripper and it's amazing. Clean cup, no faffing with steady pouring. If you want to make a litre just dump the water and coffee in for the first 500ml, leave to brew for 2 mins or whatever, while that's going weigh out the next dose and get the paper/water ready. Draw down into your vessel, dump the used filter in the bin, rinse repeat. I love the clever, and I'm too lazy for even the aeropress 😂

Yeah I think you get a test on arrival and wait in the hotel until you get the results. Then you still have to finish the quarantine elsewhere? So I guess we'll find out!

Jinxed it 😂 they've just brought in mandatory 4days in a hotel before heading to your arranged spot. Hopefully that'll change before we go as it's more expensive than the rest of the months accommodation combined 😬
