Most people don't fail to unclip the first day because they're concentrating so much on the new pedals. Usually wait until you think you've got it sorted, then roll up to a group of friends to show off your new kit for the first time and gently topple over in front of everybody. Absolutely guaranteed it will never happen if you're not being watched by at least 5 people.this is true, kings road, at red lights infront of a bus with right leg already unclipped still fell over to the left. I'm special I am

I've just finished building this. First time clipped in and have already fallen over at the lights in front of people which was lovely. Anyhow, thanks to everyone who helped me.
Allister for the frame
Kboy for the seatpost
Mrx for the shoes
Chainbreaker for the wheels (apologies in advance but they HAD to be sprayed)

and now my town bike is completed for winter with mudguards fitted

Firstly we have this archie grobag. I believe it is an emily, smaller size. Black outside and blue inner, very good condition despite it's age, no rips or tears at all. Measures 40 x 40 cm so would fit a laptop and a few other things. By no means a huge messenger bag, but incredibly well made, very comfortable to wear and great for taking a few things around town. Left shoulder.

i had a little search for the answer to this but couldn't find anything.
Just put time atacs on my new bike for the first time clipless. took it for a spin around the block and I seemed to unclip a bit too much for my liking (more than once) when trying to slow down. It might be that I have a relatively high gear ratio for the road (52-19) or that I'm pulling up at an angle but is there any way to increase the spring tension on the pedals so it doesn't happen?

I'm after something for my sister that I can do up for her birthday. Budget for about £70 maximum, preferably something like a hybrid. I could do some work to it so it doesn't need to be perfect. Maybe even frameset and wheels would be good enough, and I can source parts from there. Single speed would be good, but not fixed.
One a related note, does anyone know if decathlon still sell the orange singlespeed b-twin?
