MEETING: after polo this sunday Jan 26th at Angelo's!
We will talk about updates about Barwell improvement, tournament plans for the coming year, anything else people want to bring up.
Its a little short notice, hopefully all can make it. Have a think about what tournament(s) would be fun to put on and what dates would work.

I was wondering if anyone wanted to do some polo related activity for this ?
Yes they have just gotten back to us. We have to apply before feb 28th. The benefit to us is some exposure. We have to have a french inspired tournament!!! see attached. sounds like we should have a pizza session to sort out some dates etc. Feb 2nd ok with people??

Nice work Stu and Tias!
I guess a covered space with lights, good surface and rounded corners would be the ideal proposal. Bigger would be good to. We could show pics of Vancouver as an example of a purpose built court.
I have some info on different ways we can set up the club. Who would like to be involved? I can email the infos.
Max, like Stu mentioned, try to say that the roller derby girls will use the court as well. I think that having lights and good surface are most important. Bigger is better too!
I check the cambridge bike polo email from time to time. Ill send the details to your email.Just received an email from the roller hockey rep(Simon) saying they are interested in a practice space as well, so we can add them on the list of people that will benefit from any of these new spaces.

No one has really tried.
I have contacted the council in the past to ask for access to the tennis courts in the summer for a tournament. They were not very helpful. But I was thinking the same the other night. The council should have a list of spots with lights/cover at least. Its worth asking for support
