I've got a Maxxis tyre that's leaking along a small section of the bead. I've inspected the tyre pretty thoroughly and can't find any holes or rips, there's just a slight bobble in the bead where the leak is occurring so I suppose this is the cause. Is there anything I can do to get it to seal properly?

We tend to avoid anything around 10% if loaded up (70+kg) in Bristol, using Urban Arrows with Cargo line motors. I wouldn't even look at 20%.

yeah, the water is in the seatstays. The seat tube/stay junction is sealed, and at the dropouts obviously, so only exit is through the seat stay, seat stay bridge, then through the mudguard mount.

The good news is the frame is titanium, so other than a bit of weight it's not posing a massive issue.

Are you in a position to strip the frame down and leave it somewhere warm for a few days?

I've got water stuck in my seat stays. I can hear it sloshing around when I rotate the bike. The only way in I can see is through the seatstay bridge. I've managed to get a dribble of water to exit the frame but there's still plenty more sloshing around. Any clever suggestions to get it out?

They're basically a capable hybrid. My justification was I'd be able to get rid of 3 bikes I don't ride all that much, and have one I ride alot.

If you ever find yourself in Bristol you're welcome to try mine. It's a diamond with a unicrown fork so lacks all the noodles but I think it's probably of a similar age to that one, so shares the same geometry.

Might also be worth looking at the new Bullitt X. I'm not sure on their availability just yet but that's the only real two wheeler Urban Arrow XL alternative I know of.

Really depends on if it was the plus tyres you didn't like or the handling/ride position, as I don't think the 2 are comparable apart from that

I bought it. It fits if looks a bit silly, particularly with 27.5" plus front end.

Definitely something in that cool aid. Very capable on steep stuff. I'm sure it's not as quick as my 120mm travel, dropper seatposted XC bike, but it gets down the same stuff. Does very well on steep technical climbs too. Has to get very steep before the front end starts wandering around.

Any particular recommendations for a seat clamp with rack mounts? or all much for muchness. QR not necessarily required.

Should have said, I have a cargo now and would say the same. It handles great, but it is a bit of a faff even with a double garage.

Have you tried getting yours on a train?

Did it it lockdown times. It's a hassle but possible if you get lucky with the right train.

I've never found my cargo to be unmaneuverable on the road. It's not the easiest to carry through a house or up stairs, if that's a consideration.
