Hillbilly and I had a chat about this after the TT Royale and there's a couple of seriously bad sunken drain covers that have appeared relatively recently..
Considering how much they paid for the redevelopment and how recent it was it must weight it as the worst road in the South East at least..
My rear wheel fell foul of one of those, and resulted in a dent in the braking surface of my rear rim.
Maybe we should target Boris with all the dented rims and play hoopla and before you say it, I know he's not directly responsible but a scapegoat is needed.

@ joe schofield
I think you're lost dude! You might want to head over to 'Welcome' or 'Names & Faces'.
Try the 'Welcome' thread there's some useful info there or failing that in the top left there is a search function that may aid you. Using the search function on this site is like using a wikipedia for fixed gear and single speed bikes, it's very helpful.

No, you just have to drop the affectation of signing off as de Selby (or 'peace' or 'toodle fucking pip' for that matter).
I'm not the style police though, so feel free to ignore me and incur my eternal wrath ;)
Was just about to make the same point about strange sign offs but was struggling to remember the name of Mr.*** 'toodle fucking pip'***.
You shouldn't feel the need to impose your intellectual superiority upon members of a bike forum but as BMMF says, feel free to ignore me.

my first build/bike was/ is absolutely perfect. Exactly what I wanted. Well... I say MY first build... El Squire actually did all the work while I ate my dinner. I'm such a cnnt.
Was most enjoyable.
my first fixed. been over a year ago now. build documented here...oh the innocence
inspired by JOL's kenevans!

bike is now making its rounds down camberwell(?) way
Another Camberwell resident? We're multiplying. It's electrifying. You better fix up....
Taxi for Mr. Squire.

Now breathe, I know that I didn't state this in my original post but I was referring to the bike in the picture and unless my eyes deceive me I can't see any dropouts so to speak.
Please re-read the post and note the general tone, thank you.
