football clubs shouldn't be on the stock market end of..
you can't have contracts and signings/decision making driven by something as flighty and as distracting as trying to appease stockholders and the stock market..It's a fiscal choice they made... it's a company with assets it's allowed. Whether it's a good idea or not.. we shall see

Moyes has a 6yr contract, which should mean he has the time to mould the squad, players coming to the ends of their contracts, and some having not performed as they should/could will force his hand. So whats the point in waiting? Remake in year two and use next season to bed in, and year three to add the finishing touches and challenge hard then.
they had to give him a big contract though as a show of faith any less and the share price would have taken a tumble...

Suck what up? Your incorrect analysis? Not saying we're going to win the league, just saying you're wrong. In recent years we've flip-flopped between a good first half of the season and a poor second and vice-versa.
While it's true Arsenal have a bad patch every season it's not always this time of year. In fact it was around this time last season we started our recovered after a very poor start.
And one irrefutable bit of analysis for you; We are top of the league.
yes you are... but as discussed the bedwetting hasn't begun. I think every non arsenal supporter will be very surprised if you're there at the end. TBH I'd certainly prefer you to win the league above Chelsea
regardless of saturdays result... we've not beaten you in ages at Anfield, there's generally been some sort of calamity in the way of our win or Arshavin

Maybe I am touchy, but all these relegation candidate supporters calling the team at the top of the league after two thirds of the season bedwetters, can do one.
I don't think Arsenal will win the league but, once again, they've proved the genuine bedwetters wrong by being up there.
it's a thing Arsenal shit/wet the bed around this time of year and have done for many years now...
Same thing as lfc's next year is our year crap...
Suck it up and take it until the club proves otherwise.

Yes he is better than Toure, but again that isn't saying much. I don't know who I'd put there instead, really we need someone new. I really like Flanigan but he's too young to play there at the moment & it would waste his speed.
I do like BR too though, most of what he's done has been good - just made a few errors & has missed a couple of signings that I think he needed. Not bad really.
Wisdom and Kelly are both centre backs, hopefully Wisdom is coming on nicely at Derby. Kelly still seems short of fitness and also is now surprised of the physics of the flight of the ball.. He might not be a long term plan sadly.
Missed signings aren't BR's fault though, it's a mixture of the club sticking to a rigid valuation for a player (you will get bargains but you'll also miss out) and players understandably wanting to play for CL sides when we aren't prepared to spunk a massive wage on them as a bribe.. been burnt on that before

Doesn't make them good though does it?
I'm a Liverpool fan & every time there's a corner or free kick heading towards our box I get worried because Skrtel is ALWAYS pulling/holding someone, more than any other defender I've seen. He'll get pulled up on it eventually & you know it'll be when we really need the win & the penalty scored will make the difference.
I'll have to believe you on Allen, he has an uncanny trick of becoming invisible once he steps over that white line...
So many defenders do that, it's just the media have picked up on it with Skrtel specifically... he's better than Toure so who else would you put in on the right hand side of the centre backs?
Allen can keep the ball well and adds more stability to the midfield... we can definitely improve on him and he's been really unlucky with injuries so far.
I like BR, he's turned things around nicely but does need to sure up the defence. I thought Sahko was coming back a while ago. He's definitely learning on the job though which is to be expected he's a young manager.

ha.. yeah sure why not.. kit supplied by the other party
Edit: ah ok yeah sure
