Has anyone got a cheap-as-chips beater bike going spare? A friend of mine had his stolen and is looking for a new one.

Medium frame, pretty much anything goes, emphasis on cheap. The fact that the old one got stolen was a bit of a miracle and a blessing considering the state it was in.

Continuing the 'tiny bike paths' theme, although this one is probably justified.

After an embarassing false start looking for 'Jon Mius', before realising it was in cursive, the name welded on lead me to Jon Mills where there is a photo of the railings with the filename prestonpl07_72.

And I learned that he has done lots of work around town, including the train in the railings over New England Road.

Usually if I’m out it’s squeezed in among other errands so don’t have the time to find something tricky or too far out of the way. I might have to build up a backlog of tags but not sure if that’s cheating and/or frowned upon.
