I only bought this off here a week or so ago after fancying getting back into road cycling again. I was obviously a bit optimistic about the amount of storage space I had available and as it turns out two bikes in the front room of a 1 bedroom flat is one too many even for me (let alone my better half) so last in first out!
I've only ridden the bike a couple of times to and from work and it's very comfortable for a alloy road bike and is very planted and well put together - obviously it is not a new bike and it's been ridden in all weathers since it's been in my possession as well as the previous owners so do not expect a new bike obviously it's a little dirty at the moment but I will try and give it a clean before it leaves my ownership.

Afternoon all!
I'm after a road bike, nothing too fancy or expensive as I've got £300-£350ish to spend which I appreciate isn't a lot but someone might have something. I usually ride a 56cm and am a pretty normal 5ft10/11
Annoyingly I missed out on this bargain - http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/262474/ but that is exactly the sort of thing I'm after.
Alloy frame - Ribble 7005? Planet X alloy team? Pro-lite? Trek? Mudguard eyes would be a real bonus.
Carbon or carbon alloy 1"1/8 forks
Shimano groupset, 105 10X2 preferably or a comparable Sram double groupset but that is probably out of my price rangeSo, what have you got?
Oh and I'm based in London but can travel a bit if needed.

I ripped a hole in the side of my Continental grand Prix 4 season 28mm riding over something on the way to the office the morning so need a new tyre. Before I pull the trigger on another 4 season does anyone have any recommendations on a 28mm tyre for commuting over winter with good puncture protection for £35 or less?
What are Vittoria Open Pave's like in regard to wear? I assume even the 27mm will come up bigger than the 28 conti I am running.
Are 4000s' better than the 4 seasons?
Any thoughts on any of the Michelin pro4 tyres? Not sure if you can get them in 28 as of yet.

**Mavic 717 36h rims to hope front hub and shimano xt rear.
**
Got stung with these (the seller didn't list the faults with them properly) I've never ridden them so can't comment on the quality of the bearings in the hubs, I assume they need a service based on the condition of the rest of the wheels. The front rim is a disc specific one and looks in good condition, however the wheel has a bent spoke. The rear wheel is a normal 717 rim and has been used with a brake and is in pretty poor condition. I wouldn't even bother trying to reuse the tyres. Might be decent for a beater? You're more than welcome to come and take a look at them.

Price £15 for both including skewers?
**On-one dropper bars
**
Good condition, with some bar tape glue residue

Price £5
**On one flat bars with slight sweepback
**
Good condition - have been cut down slightly
Price £3
**Deda 100mm stem
**
Good condition - bolts have gone a bit rusty but perfectly useable
Price £5
All located in Clerkenwell near the three kings pub. Dibs followed by PM please

~~Bought this after one I previously got off here showed up with a big dent in the top tube but it's time to face facts - it's never going to get built up!
It's a aluminium Rock Lobster team tig sl the size is 19" plenty of marks on it from cable rub and chain slap but it doesn't have any dents in it and it seems very straight. It has a Crank brothers headset installed. It's designed for 26" wheels
Price £Sold
~~~~Kona Project 2 disc forks. Plenty of steer left, in pretty good condition, no dings or dents but paint is not perfect, again designed for 26" wheels
Price SOLD
I'm about to list some 26" wheels and some cranks in the components section if anyone is interested.~~
Edit - All sold.
