I normally avoid forum rides like the plaugue, but have been meaning to try this place out for ages, so count me in.
I will be eating nothing but £40 worth of lobster.
I shall bring my own hammer.Dont mind riding the whole way, as long as it's not at some stupidly slow pace that takes us all day to get there....
Based on a quick look at the original list, I don't think this will be like a typical forum ride :-)

Well aware that I'm talking about one of your friends who is probably a sound chap but last time I met somebody so critical of me at first introduction they fancied me.
In approximately one hour last night, he raised concerns over the way I dress, my sexuality, the bag on my back, the lights on my bike, my choice of drink and the bike I ride. Not bad going for first introductions.
Now, I realise these are all valid concerns that I'm sure many of you secretly share but maybe he was a little bit hammered last night? Either that or we really was trying to shag me and ballsing it up like a 13 year old.
He's like marmite, if marmite were to conduct it's life as a social experiment/ instillation.
I'll go back to what I first said: "behind a facade of blase ignorance lies a considered and rational mind".

Whirlwind Tour
Thursdays,1830hrs for 1845 departure at the large gate opposite York Bridge, Inner Circle. Then up and out for some anti-clockwise Outer Circle fun.
20mph+ average, but if you can't hold on, worry not! Form your own little train for light relief. Lap times are between 7:00 and 8:00, with a possible slow lap/rolling rest after the first 4. Stop after 8 laps/22 miles. Or earlier, if you're a slacker (no shame in that). A little bit of a rest, then off to LMNF for recovery.- upstart

This got busy fast!
I'd be happy doing turns at the front, but if it's a 6pt group then I doubt I'd have the pace.
It would seem sensible to try to split the list to a fast-pace group and a medium-pace group, since that's surely what will happen on the night and the ResponsibilityCap thing is fairly meaningless.
Just a list-organisation observation rather than a dig at anyone btw.
