To be fair, I think Chris Akrigg would be pretty damn quick round a proper track too, hes just an extremely skilled rider no matter what the discipline.
There is skill on a bike and having the legs. They are different things. Some riders have both. I do think that this track was more set up for trick riders that proper track riders though. Thats not a critisisum. It was really fun to ride.

I seemed that the faster ridders also went a bit higher in the banking and sprinted the streights. I tried to keep it a little smoother and stuck the red line. I wanst anywhere near as fast. It was a little like riding a bowl on a BMX. Fair play, they may have been a little sketchier but they really had the smeed.

Reed already got tobacco and chocolate from Berlin but I'll bring him another one.
And yes, hire cars are made for thrashing. We'll do handbrake turns until the police arrive.
They cant touch you, you are leagaly required to do handbreke turns in any hire car. Did you know, it is also leagal to speed in a hire car. But only if you are on the rev limiter. If not, your not trying hard enough.

To me (as someone who works in architecture) this looks good. HH reolize that they need the comunity to get involved. A cafe and family cycle path is a great idea. For what is a suberbaban area I could really see families teaching there children to ride here. Then going for a tea and cake. HH will suffer somewhat when the new velodrome opens because as much as people like HH the pringle offers a fantastic track with exelent facilities. That will be hard to pass up.
The fact that a big name architect has put a sustainable scheme togeather and is backing HH will add weight to the aplication and go a long way to saving it.

Haha, giving track advice to a seasoned track rider. The funny thing is that Stelle would smoke nealy everyone in that room on a full sized track (probably including Chris, although I am not doughting his ability).
Regarding the hill climbing, you have obiosly not seen Bringmemyfix go up a hill. One of the things I have noticed with FGL and fixed mag is that it seems to miss a lot of really talented riders mainly because they are not part of the trick seen. Its fine as that is what the two are geared towards.
