hmm 2080 & Ti reviews are out.
2080 is basically the same as a 1080Ti on current games, but with less VRAM. Note: none of the new fancy games seem to have been tested so I would expect the 2080 to perform better
2080Ti crushes everything, but man, that price of 1200+ is a bit crazy.
I am waiting to see how the EVGA 2080 Ti cards do

I forgot who wanted the Hamilton Air Zermatt limited edition, but I did find a shop with one in stock (or at least they claim to have one). I don't totally trust this as the AZ one had only 50 for sale in CH, yet they say 1918 number run. The 1918 number is actually for the non-AZ special edition (not limited).

really tempted by the new Surface Go. My tablet had to be rooted to get 5Ghz and is now stuck on an unpatched Android from last year (can't even get back to stock, but huawei don't do updates for it anyway).
10" running proper windows 10, with USB C for $549 (8Gb ram, 128Gb SSD) is very tempting.
There's a deal on the Surface Pro 12.3" with i5, but that's just back into laptop... I want a tablet that can in a pinch be a laptop -

I found this eventually:
https://justasmallblog.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/how-to-resize-a-seiko-collar-and-pin-watch-band/
I had thought the collar went in one of the outsides, and the pin went through the other. I could not get the collar to go in, so kept googling.
So, I put the collar in the middle part of the links, then holding the watch strap together force the pin back in. Helped to have a bit of metal to push the pin back in as it takes some force.
-
hah yeah once I worked out how the collar pins go, it was very easy. At least these ones fit on the middle of the link, rather than the outside. There was nothing at all in the book on how to do it!
@spunk_nautical I am really happy with it, looks better in person!

I have a Hamilton Pan Europ which is my daily driver. I love it, but mine has a very minor flaw (the bezel does not totally line up at the noon mark). That said, got it half price, figure that's ok.
The insides are all solid, being actually a Swatch owned company. Parts / labour etc.. should be relatively cheap.
