Fixed cup is stuck on my Mercian Vincitore track frame, really stuck. Am I right in thinking that a vice is the right way to go. Get the fixed cup in the vice, then turn the bike?

I've got a 61cm Raleigh road frame with 531 tubing if your still looking, just been sandblasted so it's in need of a re-spray.

Been searching around on the internet for days trying to find the best deal on a new pair of wheels.
Have ended up with a few choices, one being Mavic CXP22 rims with Miche Primato hubs built up and posted for £144.
Good deal?, know of anything of similar quality any cheaper?

Just moved up to London and have read too many stories on here about stolen bikes to risk my mercian gettin nicked. Bought a cheap old raleigh frame and looking for a cheap fixed wheelset to match. Can pick up from New Cross/Camberwell area. Cheers

hmm would be surprised if it's rust, it's only ever been used on a track a handful of times, never seen road or rain. It's been kept in wrapping for years in a loft. It's got a 531 respray sticker on it so i'll take your word about the sand
