Did you sleep well the night before/were you hungover?
I also found that the older I get the more painful tattoos become. I had one done that's goes from shin just over the curve into foot, and when it was on the foot I found it close to unbearable. I was super hungover though I chalked it up to that. I now think my teenage self had a far higher pain tolerance than my current late 30s self though. Now they all really hurt no matter where they are. -

Tried on a Pelagos 39 and some cunt watches. The solar tag Heuer watch felt best. Less flashy, sat lower on the wrist and wasn't noticeably €3k worse than a Pelagos 39. I know comparing quartz and automatic doesn't make sense, and I'm only going on intuitive feel, but that is what I left the shops thinking.
That picture was just for me rly, but it shows how low profile the Aquaracer solargraph is.

My Certina DS2 that I wear every day is great except the height. It snags quite often. I like that it's 200m and feels pretty sturdy (I wear it for work/sport/swimming etc) but I wish it was a bit lower profile. I'd like to try on a pelagos 39 and an aquaracer just to see if they feel a bit closer to the wrist.

When I was a kid I assumed they were on the same level as omega/Rolex, just because they were near each other in the shop window (provincial jeweler in Chichester) and looked big and technical.
That one you just posted looks like something from The Fifth Element. 'Funky' late 90s early 2000s design.

Ok thanks. That makes sense. So they basically sold out. But what is this reputation that Sumo mentions? I guess I've seen lots of city banker types in speedmasters etc but I didn't realise tag Heuer were like a level lower in that whole thing. Those aquaracers with the unpainted metal bezel are appealing to me because they seem a bit more low key and all their website spiel makes it sound like they're hard-wearing

I have one of these nice looking and light, but cheap Chinese carbon posts. Had it for a couple of years. Recently though, mid commute, the saddle has just dropped off. My first thought was that someone had tried to steal the saddle but got disturbed, but that can't have happened twice. Any ideas? I thought maybe user error and I hadn't tightened it but obvs the second time I made 100% sure it was tight and solid. Maybe the saddle jiggles forwards and slides off the rails?
