I am thinking of doing this in mid August.
It seems to be quite a common route for charity fundraiser rides if you take the most direct route, through dieppe then through paris. Has anyone on here done it?
I'm also considering going a longer route, through belgium then along the french-german border.

I can understand why hurling helmets have become so popular, the cage is easier to see through and they're dead light but for me the helmet itself seems a bit flimsy. If in a crash i went headfirst into a frame or cage/wall then I think the hockey helmets offer much better protection.
ideally for me would be a hurling grill on a hockey helmet, but I have never seen the grills for sale on there own.
