I have some nike mtb shoes here. Not sure what the name of this model is, the diagonal straps make them look like they are prob 90's era.
Brought them recently, like them but they are a little tight. I really good condition, don't seem to have ever been used more than a few times.
£30 (without cleats)

I've booked two weeks off work, which will give me time to do a longer route.
There is a couple of other polo players interested as well who also won't qualify for the worlds but fancy going along to cheer, drink and heckle in Geneva. We are going to meet up and chat about the route this week, I think that the french-german border route is the one people are keener on.

Planning on riding it on my polo bike, using a 8spd alfine on the rear. It has no rack mounts but I am thinking getting some "bike packing " style gear like a frame bag. I think we will end up with a mix of hostels and lightweight camping. -

There is a campsite open at Kingston which is pretty close, would be a nice easy ride in to brighton uni (its less than 5 miles and I think there might be a cycle path on that road now)

There are trains from Lewes to Falmer station (which is by Brighton Uni) as well if your feeling lazy.
Its easy enough to wild camp on the downland, but there isn't a lot of shelter or water and it would be a little way till you get up past the farmland to somewhere secluded.

who else is wanting to fly?
I have been thinking about riding there and flying back, route (and how long it will take) I haven't decided. If there is a tourney the week before in karlsruhe, or some where else on the way I will try and go via it.
Do you think they will let non-players use the bunkers?
