Would be nice for long rides in the country - especially with that view - but there is no way I'd want to be dismounting and remounting that thing at the traffic lights in the city.
What are the reverse penny farthing bicycles, where the rear wheel is the big one? I saw a girl riding one around Arnold Circus.
Farthing Pennies.

8.30 this morning - some brakeless tool at Old St roundabout poppin wheelies and doin barspins, then dropping his bike in front of 2 lanes of traffic just as the lights changed.
If you're on here, I'm sure you're a nice guy, you just ride like a cock.
Ha ha. I think I know who you mean, I've seen him a few times. I saw him almost drop his bike once before, and I'm just left thinking: why bother? (Poser.)
Not as bad as the unipack rider on the same route that undertakes and then just cuts across the road with out looking. I'll guess he's not on here, but if he is: you're a fucking dolt and you almost got hit and you don't even know it.

I will set one up if i have time today, but someone with more experience/statistics/involvement in the HGV campaign may be able to create a rather more informed prose.
We can fire off to all our email lists and request the recipients do the same.
I think we'll need a discussion and forum consensus on the best thing to petition for. And, of course, we need a round-up of accidents to offer as evidence. I'm not quite sure where all that information exists.
It might also be worth lobbying the road safety peeps to stick this on their agenda, cuz a well placed advert would work wonders I'd say.

@bluequin, i have always said that. at least ban them during rush hours
Petition? The evidence is now overwhelming that they are a total nightmare, and we'll just get more and more cyclists on the roads as the weather gets better and cycling is promoted further - and then Crossrail starts with an anticipated 200 HGVs a day removing soil through central London. Blah blah...
When I was 4 I knew that it was best not to "clean things" in the same place my family did all their shitting, I know that much.
