Not enough belief, i'll have it out within an hour. I've got the full might of an engineering department behind me. You name it, I'll hit it with it. We've got some Titanium nitride coating rigs too, now theres an idea.

Any ideas on the best route to repainting the frame, chaps picked it up but not brought it to work (seldom drives as he's always on his bike). Said it might need a respray.

Should I powder coat, or get someone to do a proper job...?

Should be getting hold of a Carlton (hence Raleigh right?) track frame, 1986, white, track drop outs, 531. Think the seat tube is jammed in which might be a mission, really want to get my new wheels on this frame. Will probably be inundating you guys with questions when I get hold of it. Anyone had any experience of Carlton frames?

Yes, I think we're good to go, i'll see if he'll knock it down a little or throw in tubes and tyres... should be good! can't wait to get riding. Need some forks first, and a sadle, sproket, seat, seatpost, pedles, brakes, but not far off.

Well I can get the same rims, so it's a Miche vs System ex really... from what i've seen they're pretty similar. I've spoken with the outspoken guy and he'll let me order tomorrow. So I could go with them, but i'd like to use my local bike shop, but might beat them down on price a little. Would pro vs CXP22's come out in favour of pro's and if so what price built up should I go for?

I'm not sure i can take the plunge before hearing direct evidence of their bomb resistance. some kind of before and after photos would suffice.

Is £155 a good deal for that setup? or should I try haggling down?

£145 for wheel set with Systen ex hubs and Mavic Open Sport

Or

£153 for System ex with cxp22's

Thats built up with some tubes and tyres for £10 extra.

Which would people recommend?

I'm liking the outspoken cycles site! Miche Primato vs Miche Primato LF? I'm erring on the cheaper set, my dropouts are 130mm but I think I could get 120mm in! and 42mm chainline should be about right..

Well, i've got the frame, the cranks BB, stem handle bars, and think I've located the right forks. I'm now thinking wheels.

a) purchase hubs spokes and rims tires and tubes - build up for £25 at bike shop
b) purchase otp set (any suggestions £120 range)
c) buy some off ebay/here

Not sure which will give me best value for a light set of wheels.

Any suggestions?

I actually seem to have enough thread to use the ones it came with, strange! now to decide between 42, and 53 rings.
