I generally avoid mixing sizes on customers' bikes, but I have a lot of experience mixing ISO/J.I.S. in both directions on my own personal bikes, and it as never given me a lick of trouble.

Right, the cranks arrived today... defiantly a campag logo.

E-170 84 9/16"x20 stamped on the inside of crank arms.

Made in Italy and Brev campagnolo -53/39 stamped on chainring

I've revived the old thread, as I like the sprint forks, chrome is just what I need.

So what is the steerer length on those sprint forks?

I'm looking for forks for my frame, the headtube is 160mm long. My stem requires a threaded fork, and it's a 1inch tube, so the only thing left is headset and fork... what lengths should I be getting?

wheel size I think is 700C, I can't get a 27" wheel in without deflating tyres anyway.

removed top headset cup and BB before weighing. Your right about the weight gains on other parts, hopefully be able to make it up nicely.

Great, the seller is refunding £17 of my purchase, as he doesn't want the frame back and it's probably worth something in itself.

That the number on the bottom bracket? reads 57, I'll try and find some contact details.

Hmm, they suggest 1.9kg for the frame (with forks) mine came in at 2.4kg without forks, so i'm pretty sure it can't be SL. Still waiting to hear back from the seller.

Hmm, probably true... I did think SL was pretty high end. Will see what the seller says, might re-list or post on here if get no joy. It's not a bad frame, but I was hoping for something a larger step up from my current beasty.

Frame arrived and I don't think it's columbus tubing, weighs 2.5kg. It's also pretty chipped and threads on BB and the dropout adjuster pins are abit knackred. I'm not sure whether this means I should be able to contest the listing, any idea on this?

Bugger, my frame arrived with (unexpectedly) a shimano UN51 bottom bracket in it. I assume this isn't going to fit my cranks, so am I best finding an alternative bottom bracket?

Cheers Sam, they should be (the listing had them as Campag) I'll need Italian BB for my frame so I'll have a look about.

53-42 teeth, and 170mm arms.

It is the logo, well I just bought them under the guise of Campag, they've not arrived yet. I'll post measurements when they do.

Anyone sure on this? Presume any square tapered BB will fit..
