Just caught up on this thread after a few busy months, so much great stuff going on! Miso!! Love it.
I’m growing loads of veg this year, just started a big crock of cucumbers. Wrong type really but they’re coming out of my ears. More here.

To prevent ‘vampire’ loads I suppose? Or anti-theft?
The wiring in this jalopy is bodged to high heaven. Several things are permanently live (brake and reverse lights discovered so far), others ignition controlled, and still more (fuel gauge, horn) enlivened by an independent rocker switch. Might be better to start again...

Hi all. So, I’ve got Plex Server running on my Mac mini, Plex Media Player on my iPhone and I’m planning a couple of room setups with chromecast audio sources. Also Plex is working with my Samsung Smart TV and I’m loving it, although my sum total video content is one ripped DVD. Anyhoo, I have two questions:
- best way to do multiroom audio simultaneously as it seems Plex only lets me cast to one client at a time.
- a wireless speaker for forays into the patio, that will integrate into the above setup? Not sure if Bluetooth will work if I want it to play at the same time as my chromecast sources with no latency. Budget £200
Ta x

An eBay search alert awakens from a slumber so deep I’d forgotten I’d ever set it. Years hath passed with ne’er a glimpse. Behold the majesty of this beast:

Or position your speakers properly, put them on good stands if bookies, think about your room treatment.
Motherfucking information please. #5beersin

A few days ago I harvested some spring honey from my strongest hive. Pic shows a frame halfway through ‘uncapping’ necessary before putting it in a centrifuge. Spring honey tastes great but crystallises quickly, so it’s best to clear it off so it doesn’t mix in with the summer honey, which stays runny.
Since I have more hives than last year, I need to make up a few more hive boxes and frames to ‘super’ (put on top). With the amount of rain we’ve had, if it warms up a bit the clover and blackberry yield around us in the next month could be very heavy.
