Right, I just had a job interview and they said that if they offer me the job they would like me to start real soon. I think I would really enjoy the job.
The problem is that I am writing my Master's thesis at the moment and won't be finished until September.
I have had preliminary exam results in: I have 60% and above in all my exams so technically I am not reliant on a good grade on the thesis in order to pass the course.
Is it worth doing a bit of a bodge job on the thesis if that means I can secure a job in this current economic climate?
PS: The job is in software development.
PPS: On the other hand, I may not get the job, so all of this is hypothetical. -
mikec half-intentionally crashes into a Lambo, gets 18 pages of argument from the forum. So far, so mundane. The thread rests. Then some sexually frustrated closet cases from Pistonheads! forum do a mass troll. http://www.londonfgss.com/thread17784-18.html#post689798

Ebay buyer buys a jersey for a tenner, it turns out to be crap, posts it here and the seller joins the thread. Hilarity ensued: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread24171-2.html

They actually tried to introduce something like this in Germany some years back, following the airline example, but there was a massive public outcry and it was withdrawn. It'll undoubtedly come back, though.
I remember that. Epic fail!
The turning point was when a news story broke that a few grannies, who had bought cheap tickets, got chucked off an half empty train.

I once was beaten up on the way home, had a bloody, bruised face the next morning. Went down to A&E at 9am on Saturday morning and whilst the building was a bit rank, I was seen by an A&E doctor and a more specialised bone surgeon (what are they called again?) within 3 hours. Luckily there was no damage but I was impressed with The Royal London hospital, which I always assumed to be really shit (judging from the outside).

I had to be in Waterloo at seven every morning last week- and was very surprised at the number of people wheeling bikes along the platform.
I had thought that they were flat out banned in the mornings- Bazzason you have cleared up a small mystery for me, for which I thank you.
Do you finish work early enough to get on a train home before the ban kicks in again?
You can take a bike outwards in the morning. I think ban hours are 7.30-9.30 for going towards London and 17.00-19.30 for going out.
Edit: SWT bike policy
