Ha, I was riding with american football guy last night... I was in full on commutenger mode, dawes galaxy+panier.

This morning two girls waved at me at a bus stop in balham and said have a nice day! really cheered up my commute... (they weren't just saying it to me, said it others on bikes around me) I think everyone should cheer on cyclists they see! :-)

I'm on a black BJ heading the other direction most evenings, although usually a little later :)

Someone tell me if i'm being an idiot here; as cuntish as the cunts are on Brick Lane, at least we know where to look when our rides go missing. If we deter people from selling there, it's not going to stop our bikes getting nicked, just broaden our search area to, well, most of Greater London.

On a positive note, thanks to the fellow fixed rider that let me pass as I paused to let him pass in traffic going in opposite directions, it was a kinda funny "ok you go, no you go first mate, no you" both of us trying to be polite lol, didn't catch much of a description but noticed a karmasutra alley cat card in your rear wheel, nice to encounter good manners during my morning ride in :).

Was this weaving through the Liverpool St gridlock this morning around 9? If so that was me.

Also some guy I overtook just after broadway market this morning, on a cream something. I could hear you echoing my objects to the motorcycle courier who decided it would be funny to hug the right-side of the one way bit off hackney road, forcing everyong to go around him on the wrong side. Technically he wasn't in the wrong, but still, WAC.

Hello hello - I'm trying to find a decent front light that will mount / clip onto the straps of my bag (across the chest). So prefereably flat (ish) and BRIGHT.

Sort of, but not entirely related to this thread, can anyone recommend a good video camera for attaching to a bike (ideally clipped onto a frame)? I was thinking along the lines of something small on a long lead that can be fed back to recording equipment in a backpack. Ideas?

but shouldnt everyone just group together and get a load of jackets and tarmac, then whenever we see one riding on our day to day buisness we can don the jacket, clipboard ect. and fill it

I think it's a great idea, but isn't there a danger that if you make it look too official the people who should be marking them for repair will just assume that someone else is already handling it?

I actually prefer the newer decal over the old ones. that is, if the color matching is done well and the seat tube decal is the headbadge rather than the vertical "bob jackson" decal.
