Not worried too much, was hoping it would settle overnight but water still a bit cloudy, have bottled for drinking right now so will probably look into cleaning up the sediment if I can be arsed and it doesn't settle soon!

Well whoever plumbed up this house didn't go to your school of plumbing, all taps are linked to cold water tank, including the kitchen, so drain and clean it is, bugger

Have just been up to the loft to renew the ball valve in the water tank and noticed a load of sediment at the bottom. This does actually feed into our drinking water, I was wondering if this is particularly safe? Currently the water coming through the taps is a bit stirred up with sediment so not drinking it and waiting for it to settle. Just wondering if I should be draining it and and cleaning it, I would rather not as it's a really awkward spot to get onto.

Am a member of a Norwegian jobs board of FB, lots of folk moving from the UK to Norway looking for jobs, much lolz about Brexit in the comments! These aren't engineers in the Oil industry, this is service industry stuff, usually folk who came to the UK for work, now heading to pastures new!

Re. Frank Green cups, I have the standard one which is great, but now wondering about the Stainless steel version, what's the insulation like? thinking of getting one for my good wife, she has a keep cup but she ain't a fan, and something that can retain a bit of heat would go down well.

Also have shark, 2 in fact, huge fan, refused to buy Dyson cos of Brexit. Have the if200 cordless and an nv601uk, that thing would suck golf balls through a hose pipe, really lifts the pile in the carpet, good job

@Hippy if you want to borrow a battered old Ribble audax (56cm) for a couple of days, let me know I work in Dyce by the airport (assuming flying in), there is a bike route/path to Ellon from Aberdeen I believe. The shire is great for riding, I live near Banchory which is great for MTB and there are heaps of road routes near me as well, Cairn O Mount is a favourite for self harm!

not sure but you can get machine that take Easy Serving Espresso (ESE) pods which is probably slightly more environmentally friendly way to enjoy coffee than pods! I've got a Delonghi Dedica and takes both grounds and ESE pods
