I've got a Frank Green regular and the wife has the insulated version, can take a bit of a knock, doesn't taste funky like the Keep Cup lid can and doesn't leak (most of the time, has been known to spill a bit of coffee if overfilled, lid assembled badly or lid not screwed down properly) Plus they do all kinda colours on their website. Insulated version keeps the drink hot but not for thermos levels of time. Lid can be a bit fiddly taking apart and cleaning and am just waiting to lose a piece but for us they work.

You should be able to get depressurised baskets for your machine and do some simple upgrades, this article helped me do some mods, admittedly I have this very machine but there won't be anything stopping you doing similar things to your machine.

Yup, but would be good to know who I should be voting for to keep out a Brexiteer, could end up being a Pro-EU Tory might be the best bet to keep out a Pro-Brexit party member, hope this makes sense!

Agree with the sentiment, but was wondering about the ESE pods as well, never used them but curious, they are single serving jobbies, so they are packaged in a hermetically sealed foil parcel so, more waste then just grinding and pulling a shot but far more convenient. I kinda like the whole ritual of making an espresso drink. We've stayed away from the aluminium pods for the very reason you've stated and didn't even know about the ESE pods until I bought my machine.

Not tried the ESE pods yet but tempted by the zero mess, I've modded my Dedica steam wand for a Silvia jobby, replacing the Panneralo (sp.) that it comes with gives a great froth for a Cappuccino but you won't get any Latte art out of it, although, to be fair, I've not managed to get any Latte art since the mod, lol!
