Chris Doyle’s part from the System Video
in 2004This video has made me really angry :-@
I refuse to believe anyone can be that good at BMX
+1
One of my favourite riders. I still can't understand how someone can ride so smoothly, with such style of trails yet also ride amazing street and ramp ?!

A guy on the Mini forum I'm part of entered his car in to the last round of the popular Time Attack series

His first experience of competitive racing and he came 3rd in his class, one of only four FWD cars in the class too.
He's entering the full season next year, he surprised a lot of the regular teams, and what's more he drove the car to and from the track, the pit crew was a bunch of forumengers and they didn't have a parts van or truck or anything, just a 4 Mini convoy to transport one set of spare wheels/tyres and a few parts like driveshafts.
Amazing. Car looks great and its good to see that you don't have to throw loads of money to do well !

Are there any good waterproof/resistant kicks to ride in? I love riding in NB 574s but the uppers are so permeable as to get soaked through each time it rains and spend a week above the radiator. I've got two pairs on rotation but I want something better.
just seen this on highsnobs:

Also, does anyone have hookups in Berlin for when the new 'Berlin Wall' pack drops? I NEED the black/white ones.
If you like moonboots, Nike did a pair of AF1 highs in GoreTex. Great looking shoe (which is saying something as i reckon AF1's look crap 98% of the time) but probably not so good for riding in !
They did have some Half Cabs in at Vans on Carnaby Street that were made of some kind of pleather/leather/rubber that looked liked they might have been a bit more resisitant than the suede ones. -

My mate Lewis is having his new exhibition opening tonight:
After winning the 2009 Ormerod prize Lewis Greener travelled (alongside "official" tour driver and genuine European Carmine Fortini) across France, Switzerland and northern Italy following 10 stages of the tour, sleeping rough, eating baguette avec fromage and bathing in alpine streams for 2 weeks.
ALLEZ! ALLEZ! collects together the best images from this trip to give you a taste of the spectacle that is the Tour and the fans that follow it year after year.6til8 at Mandella Building at Newcastle College.

Lets have a ride/pint one night next week!
What sort of bike you on now? Waugh with spinny polo gear?
Yep still got the waugh with polo gear although I can make it slightly less spinny. Need to build my new bike over winter !
Will be sorely missed, especially with the cogs my friend.
Sry I didn't make it back to London in time to see you off, been ill as hell down at home.
See ya later mate...
Mate, I'll miss you boys like you won't realise ! You're all the most amazing bunch ! Keep in touch and I'll see you soon ! x

-Ricky If you beefed up Fone, that wouldn't have happened.
Granted that was with 15 of us going through so were gonna get alot more noticed, and it was a 14year old lad that was pushed off, might not get any bother with bikes.
Another possible place that you could play is st James's car park in the double layer heading up towards the west end, i was also thinking we could try to organise the trick session thing for these places aswell.I was just jesting, you're a hunk'o'hunkofburnin'love.
I'm down. The car park at st james seems pretty lax, they have car meets there all the time so that could be ideal !! I would also come to a general ride/trick meet.

As usual Rob Wise is amazing. Liked the footage from Iraq. Thought the article in this months ride was a pretty good read too !
