I love those Bridgestones. I always keep my eyes peeled for an MB or XO when searching the classifieds.

I'd pick a point on each of the tubes to mask up to pant the whole shebang black and then try and mask yellow pinstipes against the black/orange edges but thats just me. Alternatively, I'd treat the bare metal and then clearcoat it. The new tube is then part of the frame's story.

However, something like a Surly Cross Check or Fairdale weekender could be the way to go. Simple 1x9 or 1x10 estup and either cantis or disc brakes.
