EG Bates was a wonderful shop in Plaistow…Clive was really nice and helpful…I think that was his name he ran the shop…circa 1977-8.
Apart from their own frames they had loads and I mean loads of Raleigh SBDU frames in team colours…531DB, 531SL and 753.
I still have an EG Bates musette in yellow and red!
