Ah! couldn't actually remember what forks were on there. I could have added a semi colon and closing bracket but didn't want to sour the message.
That all sounds quite sensible, are you ok? colon closing bracket
I can any may just switch it over, lets see how much energy I have after a week on the snow. Also as the only times it's been offroad propper are that time we went out and exactly one year later i'm tempted to wait until the first bank holiday of the year to launch it as a permanent offroader (dear
godtynan please don't let me be that silly) -

I'm going to get involved with the whole streetcar thing, http://www.streetcar.co.uk/, £50 to join and costs as little as a six quid an hour since I have to collect family from the airport on a regular basis, and every so often I have a dirty hankering to buy big shit, which you just can't get back to your house strapped to your back.
I'm signed up to that to use in a pretty similar manner to what you say. It's really good/handy.
Because I commute all the time by bike I find it really frustrating to go anywhere by public transport now and I miss being able to just hop off a routemaster whenever it hit traffic.

Come on mr smith, we all make vanity choices all the time.
I'm for external bb though. It seems like better and simpler solution than all previous bb's. It makes me smile when I read on here people trying to work out the voodoo of what bb/crank/hub combo works. I did seem to see a lot of bad feeling towards them at the time, but i've not had any problems with it.
I almost went hone as the truvative stylo i'd chosen on vanity was taking an age to arrive.
As for not seeing chainring bolts, dmr make an external type crank that holds the ring on with lockring on the axel too. I thought that looked nice and beefy. But i think traditional style is probably better as you have a larger range of chainrings to go for, and can get a steel one which should hold up to abuse better than than an alu ring you'd be stuck with with middleburn/dmr. Again probably some kind of falacy. -

@ rpm
Ok. I've been lucky.
Catch 22 for the more unfortunate I guess.
Still can't condone anger for (or killing, nice one chris) the people who are supposed to be protecting us. A positive move has to be made on one side to start to rectify the problem.
Here's hoping my life continues in such a sheltered manner. -

I've never understood cop hate from the mass populace (sp?). Sure occasions of misuse of force can irk, but really how often are the police giving you grief? I've never had any involvement with any police, surely it's a small percentage of the people very rarely. So by that thinking only criminals should have any real reason to hate cops, and thats fine because we all hate criminals right?
And petty crime and more important things. All crimes need policing. If the petty crimes don't get policed due to more important crime, then with no penalty or deterent the petty crimes ceace to be crime, like bicycle theft.

sorry for the hijack but i was drafting a lorry on marylebone rd. last night and a copper pulled me over. he said it was illegal - is it illegal? i thought it was just a bit dangerous, but not illegal.
HWC 66 has not ride close behind another vehicle. But it is a should not a must so isn't a law just a safety sugestion.
Stopping distances HWC 126 don't seem to be a law thing either.

Just ordered those
with 50% off, can't really go wrong (i hope)
I have them and use them as pictured :/ Make sure you can use your brake with just the one loose finger. I can't. I have to use first two or middle two otherwise the lever hits my knuckles. Alternatively I'd have to have half my hand off the bar.
