Afternoon all,
A series of unfortunate events on Saturday night; losing keys, not being able to use my d-lock and having to buddy up on a mates, culminated in some c*nt taking off with my wheels. This was outside The Haggerston on Kingsland Road.
Mavic Open Pro wheelset Silver (36 rear, 32 front), System EX hubs. Conti Gatorskin tyres.
Rear Wheel setup fixed with a 17t Phil Wood 3/32" Sprocket.Just thought I'd post on a whim, to remind you the pricks with spanners are always out there, and if they crop up, if you could perform a citizen's arrest - I'd be much obliged.

Afternoon all,
Selling a wheelset I no longer use.
White Velocity Deep-V rims, 36h laced onto stock track hubs (perhaps system-ex). Seen some use - but still in great condition, no dents or dings, and run true.
Included are the zaffiro pro tyres and inner tubes, so you're almost good to go....

Any questions, let me know.

well the lucky OP is getting his thread bumped alot :)
This is true :)
I've been sitting on this for a while, so a few days seeing where this would end up is quite intriguing. Having said that, I understand I should only really post to the thread if I'm lowering the asking price. So let's go with £110. As mentioned in description, brand new blah blah.........
Thought I'd give you guys a pop before I close this down and ebay it. Please PM me.

Morning All.
BNWT Chrome Metropolis Messenger Bag, left shoulder.
A friend had bought this for me, but I'd already acquired one, so i've had to pay him off and have no need for this. As it's brand new, I'm just looking to minimize my loss here. It's a pretty rare colour combination too.
SOLD - pending exchange

Live in SW London, so can collect or deliver within reason.

Good morning fellow board members, and what a lovely morning it is.
It may not seem appropriate weather for this question, but I saw a (brown) bike locked up at the Seven Dials recently, which had a rather fetching little rear mudguard on it.
It was metal, rather stubby, angled upwards and was mounted to the bike where the rear brake would sit.
Does anyone know this type of mudguard, I wouldn't mind picking one up to save myself a wet arse, but so far searching has come up fruitless.
Cheers!

Just a note, been looking at one of these for my 'not-here-for-long' (/too-lazy-to-carry-around-my-heavy-chain) lock.
Once you factor in shipping, comes out cheaper getting it from : https://secure.cyclexpress.co.uk/Products/Evolution_Mini_Standard_Lock_With_Bracket.aspx

Just been reading though this as I'm considering a similar daring act.
Am I right in that, as long as you bring it back looking used and not all pristine in it's original box, you should have no trouble. This is irrespective of whether you took an old beater out to dump, as it's not as if the import guys are going to remember your face flying out 2 weeks ago?
I'm guessing it's cheaper to get hold of the actual bike bag/box out there too....
Anyone else brought a bike back from the states?
