you left out guys aged 26-34, which is the main demographic of LFGSS
Hopefully that was purposeful.
How about
'For hearty chaps seeking camaraderie, thirst-slaking and all manner of bicycle related japes, look no further and esconce yourself in the snug of the Hermit's Cave, this coming Saturn's day at noon.'See you there!

Sorry to hear this guys, and thanks for the warning. I've been cutting through VP a bit at night - never seen anyone though - guess I'll stop now. Also got bored of having to jump fences when the main gates have been shut earlier than I thought.
On peckham, it really seems to vary - mostly is fine, but I've had a few close calls and VanUden was attacked right by the end of my road.
Maybe we should all start riding around in packs of 15 with polo mallets ;-)
Stay safe people. -

PS Tom, you are a hipster... ;p
I refute that! I only score 3 out of a possible 25 on this:

+1
Will, I've now figured out why I thought your alias might be a reference to law enforcers - it's a combination of 'Wiggum' - being the chief in the Simpsons, which has now passed into some slang as reference to the boys in blue generally - and 'Will' = 'Old Bill' of the original cockney derivation.
A little convoluted, I'll grant you, but I felt it best to explain my wrong-headed assumption with some form of reasonable logic.

Damn Sharky you're quicker than me! I will now just have to echo that post and say likewise good to meet all the above other than 50 who was a re-acquaintance, but how could we not mention those wheels? Make sure you keep them tied to something Paul, or you'll be like a child who watches helplessly as their helium balloon drifts off in the wind.

free postage also .....
Fair point, I wasn't aware of the chain reaction price. I based my price on what I paid for the shoes - £55 at edwardes plus £10 for the cleats. Given that the shoes are in near perfect condition (though technically used) I thought my price was fair.
Like most good peckham traders I'm always open to offers ;-) -

Bought these a size too big as couldn't get my size - wore them just enough to decide they really are too big for me. They're still almost boxfresh - soles are hardly touched and insoles not worn or marked at all.
Still in original box with all tags (removed) and screw-in shoe plate covers (not cutaways so can be swapped back for clips and straps).£30 without cleats.
Can arrange meet/pick-up within central London or bring to a drinks. Will also post if preferred providing buyer pays postage.

Wonderful riding with the SouthEastTweeds! Hope you all enjoyed the day as much as I did. From Hermit's Cave to BGWMC it was a thoroughly 531 experience.
Sorry to miss the evening festivities - hope you all got back to the safety of the south ok.
See you all tuesday!
