Yeah. That made it sound like I hit the bollard because of the coke. The coke just soaked my leg. Would have wiped out a few riders if I'd swerved to avoid it though. The bollard was down Thames path. It's bloody dark down there!

I got hit by a flying MaccyD's Coke, and rode into a bollard. Wouldn't have changed a thing about the night though!

Apart from eyebrows' accident.

The twats along the way just reinforced the FACT that my bike helps prevent me from becoming one of them myself.

Got caught couple of weeks ago. Stopped at a junction for ages with no traffic coming across, so rode over, only to be met by a copper jumping in my way waving me to 'pull over'. £30. I don't see any of the 1001 peds jumping in my way getting a ticket. I should have mounted the pavement, crossed over and hopped back onto the road. Just the same, but he wouldn't have had any cause to stop me, even though it would have been more dangerous for the peds and me.

Also got £20 ticket this week for failing to zap my oyster on the free/bendy bus to an job interview. D'oh!

I worked in an office on Oxford Street. Used to lock up at the bike stands next to Ravel. My bike got pinched on a day when Oxford Circus tube was shut. Some lazy tealeaf didn't want to get the bus or walk. Even took the D-Lock.

Fresh - might be time to make me an offer. Very short on cash and rich in bikes at the moment. Have 3 other bikes and a couple of frames. Was going to put it up for sale in the next couple of days.

I have to resist. I just bought something pretty similar for £50 and the missus wasn't pleased about that, esp as it's parked in the lounge of our flat, so it would probably be her or the Eagle. Tricky one, but I should resist.

The one I bought was 26" wheels very similar to those. Are they Rigida? Does the rear have a flip flop hub as mine did? It don't think it would be 'puppy killing' to switch it over to fixed and scrub the rust off.
