Ok serious question.

Is it **illegal **to cycle on flyovers? Like the one in Hammersmith? What about "fly unders" or what ever they are called, like the one that goes under the massive roundabout at Hype Park Corner (Picadilly arcade)?

On Hammersmith there is a sign saying no cycling. Therefore you are not allowed to cycle on it. For other places, look out for signs.

I very rarely stop for red lights, in fact if its safe and I don't see any five-0 I ALWAYS break lights. I've never been stopped for it. So I'm with everyone else here, if you can't see the police you shouldn't be breaking the lights.
Curious paradox there. If you can see the Police: stop. If you can't see the Police: question whether you are going too fast to see them and stop.

In the early 1990's Chris Carmichael, along with fellow coach Rene Wenzel, injected US junior riders without telling the riders truthfully what was in the injections, and without informing the parents of these young riders. Carmichael and Wenzel were at the time coaches of the US national junior team.

Later several of these riders became seriously ill due to side effects of the so-called "vitamin" injections, and brought a lawsuit against Wenzel. The initial legal complaint, filed by former rider Greg Strock, named Carmichael as part of the lawsuit.

Later Carmichael paid off Strock with a double digit amount to get his name removed from the complaint.

A double digit amount is somewhere between $10 and $99 which does not appear to be a huge amount in terms of hush money.

Do there seem to be more incidents of vehicles deliberately or recklessly ramming cyclists?

Well done. Keep it up. It will be difficult but just remember that however horrid it feels, it will get better and if you start smoking again you will have to go through this torture all over again.

I did my first (and unintentional) skid last week in RP when a dog jumped out in front of me. Perfect stop. I doubt that I could repeat it. Will stick to brakes.

When visiting Goodison Park, park in Stanley Park and wlak directly to the ground. The away end is that side. Never any issues with Everton.

Liverpool is another matter - for starters only Liverpool can park in Stanley Park. Anfield Community College is a good place though.
