whats the axel width on this thing?
***Thing! ***take that back!
Sorry for my stupidity but I'm not sure what you mean by axel width?
It's currently set up as a front wheel, so the hub is spaced to 100mm, the length of the axle is probably 110mm, if by the axel width, you mean diameter, it's standard 9mm. Hope this answers your question. -

Bought this of Essbee on here about a month ago.
His original thread with photos is HEREI've never even ridden it. I'm gutted as I think I've actually fallen in love with it.
My bastard computer's just packed in and I need a new one more than I need this wheel unfortunately.
Comes with new Conti tyre and new allen key skewer
Just want back what I paid for it.

Right...finally parceled everything up that needs posting, only took me 3 weeks! that's pretty good going for me. Haven't got any scales so I'll have to weigh everything at the post office tomorrow before PMing the totals to everyone. If anyone has changed their mind let me know. I know I've been threatening it for a while now but I'm determined to get PMs sent tomorrow, I can get stuff posted tomorrow and Friday too as I'm around all day and the parcels are sat here waiting to go. This stuff is haunting me now!

Good to meet you yesterday Si and thanks for the bottle cage. I liked the "slack-bloke" hat and enjoyed blasting back down the A10 to get me safe south of the river again.
Lovely to meet you too mate, I meant to say I was a bit envious of your bike at the time, but I totally forgot until you were out of the door. Hope your Son digs the cage.

Si...
I have to say I am more than pissed off myself...
I bought alot of stuff from Si the evening he put the thread up - To fit to a frame that Si used own (that I now do)...
I bought wheels, stem, cranks, tri bars - alot of cash spent.
Now I was in talks with buying a vicini Panto'd finishing kit (from another seller - non forum) for the aforementioned frame - which I have successfully purchased, henceforth the stem and the cranks I thought better of keeping - and so what it's my stuff? I don't think Si would have given me a refund If I had have come knocking on his door.
I put them on ebay, 99p auction starting price - no reserve. they could quite easily sold for less than i paid, I don't think Si would have complained then would he??
Furthermore, the stem, as a matter of fact - I chose to keep, and didn't even sell - thanks, I hope that's ok? The cranks sold for not much more than I paid, after fees etc, I wasn't really selling them to make a 'fast buck' as you've made out on your thread.
Last point,
There was a pad missing from the tri bars I bought that I was hoping Si would find when tidying through his boxes of parts - He blanked 3 PM's from me asking if he'd found it, I assumed he was busy being overwhelmed with PM's from his mammoth thread, and wasn't able to reply (and I have remained patient) now, it seems - he was just being petty.
James.
Whoa there!
In the PM you sent in which you accused me of 'openly badmouthing' you on the forum (as well as calling me a 'cunt'!) I've never said one thing bad about you.
I left your name up as the buyer of the crankset on my list as I was contacted suggesting that I was selling on eBay and the forum, and I wanted to show that this was not the case and it was you who was listing them, and that I wasn't breaking forum rules.
I merely stated that I was a bit annoyed that they were listed so soon after I sold them to you, as I let other people down who wanted the stem & crankset but I wanted to see them reunited with the frame that they had both originally come off, which is what you said they were destined for.
I had to contact the people who had dibsed them first and explain to them why they weren't available any more, so you can imagine I was a little bit put out to see them listed on eBay the next day.
Of course they belong to you now and you can obviously do whatever you wish with them, I didn't imply that you were trying to make a 'fast buck' on my thread like you have said, I just said I was pissed off, because I was disappointed, that's all.
I can't see why you've got so worked up over this.
I haven't replied to your PMs as I've been extremely busy this week. I have yet to reply to anyone regarding the bits they have dibsed that require postage. I'm going to get around to this tomorrow, sorry! (not to you, to everyone else).
I'm not 'being petty', you can have your pad when I find it, i'm sure it's here somewhere but I haven't located it yet. When I do I'll let you know.
I'm assuming from the tone of your message that you don't want to be friends, so don't ever call me a cunt again. OK.

First day off in a long time today, I'm on the case packaging all bits up right now and shall contact everyone later re: postage costs, payment etc.
Sorry for the delay chaps. I'm not known for my organisation/time management skills.
Was hoping people would just kind of turn up and give me money, it turned out to be a bit more complex than this.
Hope you all understand and can grant me a bit of 'slack-bloke' extra time
Provisionally SOLD. I'll let you know if the buyer drops out.
(In my experience they generally do, usually without bothering to let you know....grumble...moan...not in my day, etc. etc.)
