(the leopard pattern frame in the background is not part of the build!)
Just out of curiosity - what is that leopard-print frame behind? Is that something at Armourtex? Do they do stuff like patterned designs now?
How much did Ted charge all-in-all? Did he get rid of the braze-ons and all that shiz?

You might be able to get a Smeear cap at Brick Lane Bikes (if they still have any?). Condor has some own branded stuff, but it's not that interesting. I think Cavendish has Tokyo Fixed Gear shirts. Tokyo Fixed Gear itself closed the pop-up shop yesterday, so you're out of luck there.
Why have TFG closed?

I got stopped by a copper about a week ago. Rather foolishly (I was in a rush) I didn't look behind me for police cars so five seconds after jumping I heard sirens. He was directly behind me. Fail. I was polite and apologetic and he admitted that, although I had done it safely, that next time I should make sure there aren't any coppers about. Especially right behind you as it's impossible to turn a blind eye then. There are some reasonable ones about.

Oh and I'm going to Japan in the new year so I'm going to start 2009 off with a new frame.
Ooooh...what you buying??
Got my bike through the CycleScheme so compared to a yearly travel card I'm doing alright. But then there's the clothing, locks, lights, tyres...so I'm probably about breaking even. I'm piss poor at saving/gradually paying off the overdraft so it looks like it's CycleScheme for 2009 unless I somehow get my $hit together. Unlikely though.

There was something like that on a BBC program a few weeks ago, all about the British publics movements, train journeys, trains, and cabs in London to name a few.
Britain from Above. Amazing series, if that's what you're on about.
@DM - I'm sure you could find some inspiration from there.

Whats this about illegitimate software? I've heard it from other people as well, do the apple store not fix computers with pirated gear on them?
I don't actually know - does anyone else? My OS is legit so I don't see why they wouldn't fix my MBP if it's within its warranty period. But then companies like Apple do have a tendency of finding excuses to get out of providing the service they're supposed to. Besides, the not-so-legit software shouldn't affect hardware like that anyhoo.

Sounds pretty reasonable to me! All I need now is to find a decent (and cheapish) frame to convert! I want a project!
