That's what's ace about Lulu - they print to order. You want one, they print one. It boggles my mind a bit, to be honest!
I work for a sub contractor to Collins in Glasgow. We also print purchase on demand runs of 1 or 2 copies. Two huge web fed print engines, two perfect binders and two three blade trimmers. The covers are printed via a colour xerox the size of a garage that produces print quality consistent with litho.
Gloss laminated then cut for binding with the book block. The files are sent via the net from the US. They are then ripped into the print queues.
Wish I hadnt been a machine printer for so long, the technology is amazing.
I take it Lulu have a similar set up. Are they printed in the UK? Incidentally I will be buying a copy. :-)

I'd like a Pompino as a commuting, riser barred, mud guard wielding all rounder.
Fortunately I have most parts required for the build from a box of tricks in my garage. I have a set of 700c wheels from a geared cyclocross bike. Would I be able to use these as a ss system on a Pompino, and if so, what do I need to do it ?
Cheers

I dont care much for Bradley Wiggins or indeed his chances of winning the tour this year. If he does win it will be through his TT ability which is fine but it lacks a certain joie de vivre. I hope Cadel Evans or better still Nibali knocks it right into him in the mountains and steals the jersey with a hatful of minutes to play with.
I find the Mod thing a little tiresome too.
I find both him and Cavendish nauseating, and what is the deal with Mark Cavendish? Everytime he's interviewed its like he needs to spit like he's got a big greener in his throat, rips my knitting out, that.
Anyway, deeply unpatriotic but no love for them both.

Re; that coffee cup.
It never ceases to amaze me, the crazy bidding on flea bay. I saw one of the Roleur cow bells sell for twenty odd quid recently? Incidentally I bought a lovely copper one for £2 via ebay so its not all bad :)
I had cause to watch a listing for Valentino Rossi sunglasses the other day too, (get her) They finished at £122 plus £7 postage!
Available, and in stock posted free for £83 on the Intranet. bams
